Slant/Fin Corp., Greenvale, N.Y., a manufacturer of baseboard, residential and commercial cast iron and high-efficiency boilers, announced that Peter Cullen has been added to the sales management team as New England regional sales manager.
“We all welcome Peter and look forward to the success and growth that we know he will achieve in New England,” Stacey B. Droogan, Slant/Fin’s vice president of marketing and administrative services, said. “Peter brings with him over two decades of experience in the hydronic heating industry. The knowledge Peter has gained from a history that includes Carlin, Bacharach and, most recently, Wohler, will allow him to bring new ideas to New England that will add to our present successes,” Droogan said.
Cullen is well-known in the industry as a trainer, having developed and conducted training sessions for Brookhaven National Laboratory, the Propane Gas Association of New England, and for chapters of Oil & Energy Service Professionals. As a NORA Education Committee member, Cullen has trained thousands of oil heat, propane and natural gas technicians.
Cullen will work directly with Slant/Fin’s manufacturer’s representative in New England, Davenport Sales, Wallingford, Conn., developing programs, promotions and sales strategies for growth with distributors and contractors.
