Mike Eberlein named engineering manager of Rheem Heating Products

Rheem Heating & Cooling (Fort Smith, Ark.) announced the appointment of Mike Eberlein to the position of engineering manager for heating products.  In his new position, Eberlein will be responsible for the design, construction and quality-assurance of the company’s heating products.


‘Eberlein will manage the product development team’s efforts to develop leading-edge heating products and ensure reliability and quality in every product offering,” said Alan Kessler, corporate vice president of research and development. Eberlein, a veteran of the furnace industry, will be invaluable to Rheem as the company grows its award-winning furnace line.  In this position, Eberlein will report directly to Kessler and direct his engineering team in producing furnaces, from concept to completion, for use throughout North America. 


Known for his innovation, Eberlein developed the first line of 95 percent energy-efficient furnaces for Amana, and has been involved in the design of furnaces for Carrier/ International Comfort Products and York International.
