Kenworth To Host Medium Duty Chassis Update at The Work Truck Show
Kenworth Truck Company (Kirkland, Wash.) will offer the latest information on its medium duty trucks and participate in two hybrid truck ride-and-drive sessions during The Work Truck Show March 4-6 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The annual show is sponsored by the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA).
‘Kenworth’s medium duty trucks are designed to provide low operating cost and high performance in every customer application,” said Judy McTigue, Kenworth medium duty marketing manager. ‘The Work Truck Show offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about the Kenworth T170 Class 5, T270 Class 6 and T370 Class 7 models available for a variety of applications.”
McTigue will present a ‘Kenworth Chassis Update” from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. in Room W178 on Wednesday, March 4. The informative product session will examine Kenworth medium duty diesel-electric hybrid vehicles, product updates and technical information. Kenworth T270 and T370 hybrid trucks can help enhance fuel economy by up to 30 percent in pickup and delivery applications and up to 50 percent in utility applications, in addition to reducing emissions.
A Kenworth T270 hybrid truck will be available at NTEA for test drives during the ‘Hybrid Truck and Alternative Fuel Ride-and-Drive” from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 5. Kenworth will also display a Kenworth T370 hybrid tractor, Kenworth T270 industrial carrier and a Kenworth T800 with 4,500 gallon tank in its booth (No. 455) at The Work Truck Show.
