Bill Ermer, Al Davis receive Distinguished Service Award from Oil Heat Council of NH

The Oil Heat Council of New Hampshire recently recognized two dealers with the Distinguished Service Award.  The honor is given to persons who go above and beyond to uphold the highest standards of commitment to customers and colleagues. 

This year, the awards were given to Bill Ermer of Palmer Gas Ermer Oil in Atkinson and to Al Davis of HR Clough in Contoocook.  Ermer has been nothing short of an oil heat dealer phenomenon in 2009, serving as president, community leader and guest speaker.  Davis, who has served on such organizations as the National Association of Oil Heating Service Managers and the New England Fuel Institute Legislative Committee, has spent the last seven years establishing an oil certification program with the state fire marshal’s office.

The OHCNH also completed a radio and television campaign which focused on flexible payment plans, energy efficiency, and reliable service.
