Hamilton Energy now linked to major propane supplier CHS Inc.

HAMILTON, MICH. (September 26, 2011) ‘ Hamilton Energy, a division of Hamilton Farm Bureau (HFB), is now connected to the propane resources of CHS Inc., the nation’s largest customer-owned energy supplier.


‘As part of CHS, we’ll continue to offer our customers the same quality products, dependable service and outstanding programs they count on, while having strong connections to supply, programs and other resources of one of the nation’s largest propane wholesalers,” said Kevin Kobbins, Division Manager, Hamilton Energy.


Earlier this month, HFB completed its merger with CHS, the nation’s largest member-owned business and a leading energy, grains and foods company.


Kobbins noted that customers will see no change in their supplier’s name or in their daily connections with Hamilton Energy employees, delivery vehicles and telephone contacts.


Hamilton Energy ranked number 40 among the industry rankings of the nation’s propane suppliers for 2010; CHS ranked seventh and serves cooperatives, independent retailers and other customers throughout the United States.
