Westmor Celebrates 40th Anniversary with Customer and Community Events

 

Morris, Minn. ‘ Westmor Industries, a leading manufacturer and distributor of petroleum and liquid-handling equipment, celebrated its 40th anniversary with customer and community events. The company opened its 40 acre manufacturing campus on June 21, 2012, to showcase its products and facilities to more than 1,000 guests.

 

 

 

During the event, visitors toured the company’s 55,000 square foot tank factory to see how products move from raw steel to bulk storage tanks along two lines of production. Then, tour guides led groups through Westmor’s state-of-the-art, 35 bay truck and trailer assembly shop. There, the company fits and finishes its tanks to Westmor brand bobtails, truck tanks and transport trailers.

 

 

 

‘What I really like about coming here is that everyone is so courteous,” says Marvin Hanson of Central Lakes Cooperative. ‘Service to customers is a big issue to me and Westmor provides first-rate customer service.”

 

 

 

In addition to factory tours, Westmor employees treated its guests to a vendor fair, product showcase, industry seminars, plus lunch and dinner. The Minnesota Propane Association exhibited propane powered lawn mowers and pickups for visitors to test as well.
