Industry Veteran Milt Swenson Joins Westmor in New Sales Role
MORRIS, Minn. – Westmor Industries, one of North America’s largest suppliers of fueling equipment and related services, has appointed Milt Swenson to a role in bobtail vessel sales within the manufacturer’s truck and trailer division.
“Milt has been a well-known, well-respected member of our industry for a quarter century,” said Mike Hennen, general manager at Westmor Industries. “His experience and industry involvement will be an asset to our customers.”
Native to Western Minnesota, Swenson came to the industry in 1992 after working at his family’s automobile dealership. His first job was in bobtail sales before moving into a management position over vessels and bobtails. Since 2008, Swenson was in a sales role for custom tank fabrication.
Swenson has been active in industry associations including roles with the National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) as member of the board of directors and executive committee for the association’s manufacturer’s section and past chairman and member of the NPGA’s convention committee. In addition, he is an active member of the Minnesota Propane Association’s (MPA) board and was inaugural chairman of the association’s Minnesota Propane Education Research Council (MNPERC), now known as the Minnesota Propane Education Promotion and Safety Council (MNPEPSC).
