Ray Energy Corp., Troy, N.Y., set up a donation fund to aid in recovery efforts and support those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

“We are concerned for all those affected by the devastation produced by these storms,” said Ken Ray, president of Ray Energy. “We are committed to assisting these communities by supporting immediate relief efforts and long-term rebuilding needs.”

Ray Energy will donate $100 for every spot transport load delivered to customers during the month of October 2017, up to $10,000.

The company has chosen to split its donation between the Houston Food Bank serving the needs of those in Texas, which was hit by Hurricane Harvey, and AmeriCares serving those displaced in Florida, which was struck by Hurricane Irma. Customers can choose which charity they wish to support.
