OESP Accepting Applications for 2018 Scholarships
Applications for OESP’s Dave Nelsen Scholarships are being accepted now through Thursday, March 15, 2018, the Oil & Energy Service Professionals said. The scholarships were established in 1999 to help students interested in pursuing careers in the energy service industry.
Since 1999, more than $300,000 in awards has been presented. Applicants are required to write a 500-word essay telling the committee about themselves, including how their background has prepared them for success in their chosen field of study. Each year OESP receives hundreds of applications that are reviewed by a dedicated scholarship committee.

Corporate sponsors are sought to help continue this worthwhile program.
OESP awards $5,000 per qualifying student per year. The Association is seeking sponsors to contribute $2,500; OESP then matches the donation. OESP thanks ECR International for being the first sponsor for 2018. Scholarship sponsors receive:
