As the propane industry continues to evolve, so too do the solutions customers have access to. At the National Propane Gas Association Expo (NPGA), April 6-8 in Atlanta, wholesale propane equipment distributor Bergquist, Inc., is introducing the CFlexliner from Chicago Fittings at Booth 407.

Chicago Fittings’ X-Riser is a product aimed at removing a minimum of two below-grade joints per riser when compared to that of a standard pigtail style anode-less riser. The X-Riser is an underground, jointless, flexible pipe designed to eliminate the risk associated with below-grade joints. The updated product has features designed to increase ease of installation and accessibility for the customer.

The CFlexliner exhibits greater flexibility than the traditional X-Riser, the company said, allowing for more movement of the product once the polyethylene tubing has been fitted through, even in subzero temperatures. Also, it features less “shape memory,” meaning it relaxes to a straight position after being tightly coiled, the company said. This product model allows for polyethylene tubing to slide through effortlessly, and will assure coverage for the customer from main to meter, the company noted.
