Obituary: Wayne Frank, Parts Manager, W.B. Hill
Wayne Frank, who worked for W.B. Hill, East Longmeadow, Mass., for 20 years, died on June 21, the company announced. He was 75 years old.
Frank worked in the trucking industry for over 50 years. He started selling Brockway and Peterbilt trucks in Connecticut and Massachusetts. He changed to lift axles, and then tank truck and trailer parts, becoming parts manager at W.B. Hill. W.B. Hill is a truck equipment and truck upfitting company that provides inspection and testing, as well as other services.
“He became a member of the family and was greatly respected by all who came to know him,” said Bobbi-Jeanne Hill of W.B. Hill. “His wealth of knowledge in the industry was unsurpassed, and he will be greatly missed.”
Frank was born in Hartford, Conn., on June 18, 1943, the son of the late Jack and Mary (Allison) Frank. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy Seebees, serving from 1962-1966.
Frank was the husband of the late Kathleen (Parsons) Frank. He is survived by two daughters, Nicole Frank-Maslar, and Nadeen Frank, both of Westfield, Mass. He also leaves his brother Robert Frank of Wisconsin, sister Linda Martin of Connecticut, and grandchildren.
“Wayne thoroughly enjoyed trying his luck at the casinos,” his daughters recalled. “He was proud of his Italian heritage and his two years of active duty time spent in Sicily from 1964-1966.”
