MiX Telematics Launches MiX Now

MiX Telematics, Boca Raton, Fla., introduced “Mix Now,” describing it as a “simplified, self-service fleet software” designed to enable business owners to manage their vehicles and drivers more easily.

The system tells business owners or managers where their vehicles and drivers are, reveals how vehicles are being used, and sends useful reminders and alerts, helping to improve safety, efficiency and compliance, the company said.

MIX Telematics has traditionally targeted regional and nationwide operators of tractor-trailer fleets. With MiX Now, the company is pursuing what it calls “light fleets,” including those operated by fuel marketers that operate fuel oil and propane delivery trucks and service vehicles. “With MiX Now, everything you need to run your service fleet is in the palm of your hand,” Stefan Joselowitz, CEO and founder of MiX Telematics said in a Dec. 6 announcement.

MiX Telematics solutions are delivered as SaaS (software as a service) to more than 714,000 subscribers in over 120 countries. The company’s products and services provide enterprise fleets, small fleets and consumers with solutions for efficiency, safety, compliance and security.
