Marshall, Muise Join Firedragon Academy

Firedragon Academy announced that Bruce Marshall and Paul Muise have been added as instructors. Marshall is acting as adjunct supervising instructor, teaching during the summer training season, and is responsible for seminars in eastern Massachusetts. In addition, he is an adjunct laboratory instructor at Firedragon’s training facility at the Beckett Training Center in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.

Marshall (pictured, below) began his career in the heating industry in 1968 as an oil truck driver in South Boston. From there he went on to become a heating service technician, independent heating contractor and oil company owner. In 1987 he began teaching oil burner technologies at the New England Fuel Institute. In 1992, he went to work as a boiler company representative in eastern Massachusetts, gaining a reputation as a “hands-on” instructor. In 1998, he went to work for Suntec pumps, covering New England and New York. He helped develop a training program to teach technicians modern fuel-pump technology.

In 2005, Marshall joined Emerson-Swan as the training coordinator; he trained and shared his experience with installers, wholesalers and others. Marshall retired from Emerson-Swan in November 2017. He spends winters in Florida. Marshall is a recipient of the Hugh McKee Award and the Holohan Lifetime Contribution to Comfort Award, established and presented by Taco Comfort Solutions.

Paul Muise is joining the Firedragon staff as a primary adjunct laboratory instructor at the Firedragon facility in Sturbridge. He began his career in the heating industry in 1977 as an oil truck driver/serviceman in Worcester County, Massachusetts, and went on to become a heating service technician and service manager.
