Summit Distributing and Woodfin to Use ADD Software

Summit Distributing and Woodfin are implementing software provided by Advanced Digital Data Systems, the vendor announced.

Summit Distributing is a New Hampshire-based company, established in 2006. It sells gasoline and diesel to dealers and other petroleum distributors throughout New England. The company in 2015 began to operate convenience stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. Summit is implementing back-office software from ADD, as for the business part of the work, doing a migration to Google Workspace is the best option for all the employees to work together.

Terri Pare, Summit’s CFO, said the vendor’s software “had all of the functionality we were looking for,” including wholesale billing, c-store accounting, item-level price book, consignment posting, and reporting capabilities.

Woodfin, Richmond, Virginia, owns and operates 20 Pit Stop locations throughout Virginia. Woodfin is using ADD back-office software for the convenience stores.

Woodfin also provides heating oil, propane, HVAC, in-home automation and security services.

Bridget Santini, Woodfin’s senior network administrator, said, “We liked the idea of having less moving parts at the store level and we like the reporting they offered. ADD also already had a working relationship with our current grocer, which will make the transition much smoother.” Woodfin also will implement Atlas Reporting software.
