Millers Energy Acquires Johns Brothers
Millers Energy, formerly Miller Oil Co., purchased Johns Brothers Oil, Heating and Air Conditioning headquartered in Norfolk, Va. Millers Energy and Johns Brothers have been the major heating oil suppliers in the region for generations. With the acquisition of Johns Brothers Oil, Heating and Air Conditioning, Millers Energy will increase its market share and continue to grow, the company said in a statement.
Millers Energy provides residential heating oil, heating and air conditioning systems, service, installation and plumbing from Virginia Beach to the Peninsula. With the acquisition, Millers Energy becomes one of the largest residential heating and air conditioning companies in the region. The established client base and geographic reach with the combined companies guarantee purchasing power, Millers said.

While we continue to be oil heat experts, we have successfully expanded into providing all forms of residential heating and air conditioning, and we are uniquely positioned to provide Johns Brothers’ customers with the personalized service they have known for years.”
Johns Brothers Security will continue to operate as a separate company under the Johns Brothers leadership. Millers Energy was founded as Miller Oil Company, Inc. in 1977 when Augustus ‘Gus’ Miller purchased Exxon Company USA’s home heating oil business in Norfolk, Va.
