Leon C. Landis, Inc. (www.leonlandis.com) is a 24-hour full-service plumbing, heating, air conditioning and fuel delivery company in Quarryville, Pennsylvania. The company serves southern Lancaster, southeastern York and southwestern Chester counties.

Christian Landis, Bob Jr.’s great-grandfather, began hauling for Atlantic Oil in 1915. He later hauled for and then managed Farm Bureau. Bob Jr.’s grandfather, Leon C. Landis, began hauling for his father in 1933. Leon, along with his wife, Martha, started Leon C. Landis on February 10, 1950. A letter was sent to all customers announcing the official start of the company.

Leon began delivering oil, kerosene, and gasoline under the Leon C. Landis name. Later, he added Plumbing, Heating and Air-conditioning services. His son, Bob Landis, took full ownership of the company in 1973. Bob just celebrated a personal milestone of 60 years of delivering fuel oil to the community, and still works part-time.  As is typical for a family-owned business, Bob, Jr. started part-time at an early age and worked his way through the ranks, purchasing the company in 2001. The service division has grown and the company currently has 12 team members.
