R.W. Beckett Upgrades Firomatic Valve Line

R.W. Beckett Corp. announced a redesign of its Firomatic fire safety valves to meet Underwriters Laboratories’ current UL Standard 842 for “Fusible Link Valves for Flammable Fluids” in addition to the “Manual Valve” standard.

Firomatic valves feature Beckett’s improved handwheel design, the manufacturer said.

The changes to the design and assembly processes for the handwheel provide improved durability, the company said. The changes followed more than two years of internal and in-the-field testing, the company said. Firomatic valves and handwheels, like all R.W. Beckett tank accessory products, carry a three-year warranty.
