HVOEC Awards Scholarship

Cambria D’Aprile accepts the 2021 Bill Fischbeck Memorial Scholarship from the Hudson Valley Oil & Energy Council, presented by HVOEC President Rob Mahoney. The $2,500 scholarship was awarded June 9 during the Bill Fischbeck Memorial Golf Outing at Apple Greens Golf Course, Highland, N.Y.

The scholarship award is open to all high school seniors who are children or grandchildren of employees of an HVOEC member or associate member company.

To be eligible, a HVOEC member or associate member company must be the company specified in the HVOEC membership application.

The annual scholarship award “honors the memory of Bill Fischbeck’s nurturing spirit. A dedicated HVOEC member, Bill always strove to mentor, foster and steer young people in positive directions,” the Council says.

Cambria and her brother, Adrien D’Aprile, who won the scholarship in 2019, are the daughter and son of Joe D’Aprile, a former president of the Council.
