NORA Issues New Tech Manual for Liquid Heating Fuel
The National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) recently released the Technicians Manual for Liquid Heating Fuels, replacing the previous instruction manual, Oilheat Technicians Manual -Silver Edition.
The new manual is the most comprehensive and up-to-date learning resource for understanding the principles and practices of today’s liquid heating fuel, controls, systems and service. It is the basis for NORA’s Technician Certification program and serves as the textbook for Bronze certification classes.
NORA’s President, Michael Devine said, “This new edition of NORA’s widely popular technicians manual is important as if offers students, instructors and technicians in the field the most current information available. Since one of NORA’s primary missions is technical education, we are pleased to offer this resource to ensure a well-trained workforce as well as the most reliable and efficient systems for the public.”
The manual is just under 300 pages with hundreds of illustrations, diagrams and tables making the content easily accessible to students and technicians. Each chapter concludes with a QR link to NORA’s recently created online Technical Resource Center where technicians can access videos, documents and technical bulletins that NORA has either created or curated from equipment manufacturers and other reliable sources.
