Registration Opens for PEI Young Executives Conference

TULSA, OK, August 13, 2009 ‘ The Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) has announced that its 2010 Young Executives (YE) Winter Conference has been scheduled for Feb. 4-6, 2010 at the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The keynote presentation at this year’s winter conference will be given by Dr. Alan Zimmerman, a motivation and communication expert. His presentation will focus on such topics as self-esteem, motivation, teamwork, conflict resolution and change mastery. Dr. Zimmerman, a former collegiate professor at the University of Minnesota, Emporia State University, and University of St. Thomas, has presented more than 3000 programs and in 2003 was awarded the CPAE (Council of Peers Award for Excellence) Speaker Hall of Fame by the National Speakers Association. Among his former clients are 3M, Prudential, the United States Air Force and U. S. Steel.

PEI’s Young Executives Program is open to full-time employees of any PEI member company between the ages of 21 and 45. The cost for membership in the program is $100 per year. The conference is open to YE members only. Qualified individuals not currently enrolled in the  Young Executives program must renew their membership or join the program to attend.

The Winter Conference registration fee for PEI Young Executives members is $395 and $495 for non-members (non-member fee includes a 1-year YE membership). Spouses or guests are also invited to attend and will require a fee of $125, which includes all meals and receptions. These prices are valid until December 15, 2009. Rooms at the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino are $210/night for a pool or ocean view, excluding taxes and 12% resort fee. Reservations should be made by calling (888) 817-2033. Attendees are asked to make hotel reservations early, as a limited number of rooms are available in the PEI room block. PEI cannot guarantee any reservation made after December 1.
