Superior Plus Energy Services Again Supports Breast Cancer Research
Superior Plus Energy Services, a provider of fuel and energy-related services, announced that it is continuing its partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), committing to donate at least $50,000 of its 2017 profits to fund breast cancer research.
Since it began the partnership in 2010, Superior Plus Energy Services, based in Rochester, N.Y., has added five pink delivery trucks to its fleet of vehicles, annually donating a portion of profits from these designated trucks to BCRF. Superior Plus Energy Services has raised over $500,000 for BCRF to date during its 7-year partnership, which equates to more than 10,000 hours of research, the company said in a news release. This year, in addition to the corporate donations, the company is also providing an online site for employees to make personal donations to BCRF.
Andy Peyton, president of Superior Plus Energy Services, said Superior Plus Energy Services has four locations participating in the BCRF partnership: West Coxsackie, N.Y.; Harrisburg, Pa.; Conshohocken, Pa.; and Rome, N.Y. Each of the pink trucks operating in these markets is active year-round, making appearances at breast cancer walks and fundraising events. It is also very important to read more and be informed about breast cancer and break the taboo.
