Petroleum Executive Awarded
At the recent 30th annual meeting of the New England Women’s Business Organization (NEWBO) at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, Quest Awards were presented for women of distinction, women of influence and women of community involvement. Loretta DeGrazia, president and CEO of East Coast Petroleum of Stoughton, Mass., received the award for exemplary community involvement.
DeGrazia was honored for her charitable works involving homeless and veterans’ shelters, low income oil co-operatives, such as Citizens Energy, hundreds of foster children living in United Homes for Children, partnership with the Quincy Public Schools, scholarships and mentoring programs for girls in non-traditional fields of study and many other activities.
Founded by DeGrazia in 1985. East Coast Petroleum is a full service oil supply, heating and air conditioning company providing fuel oil delivery, 24 hour emergency repair service, a wide range of heating and cooling systems and regular preventive maintenance service to most of eastern Massachusetts.
