John Bohan promoted to Vice President of Business Development at the R.W. Beckett Corporation
John Bohan (University of Minnesota BEE 77, MBA 82) was recently promoted to Vice President of Business Development at R.W. Beckett. During John’s six-year tenure with Beckett he has successfully put together an engineering team to better diversify the Beckett business. The resulting team has created Beckett’s highly successful GeniSys burner controllers, with advanced diagnostics, a line of 2012 DoE-compliant energy saving boiler controls, and is currently working on lithium-ion energy storage and power conversion for utility, military, and commercial applications. Prior to Beckett, John spent 25 years at Honeywell Inc. in a variety of roles including General Manager of Honeywell’s Home Comfort and Residential Combustion business units. He also directed Honeywell’s North American Home and Building engineering. John holds 25 US patents.
