IEC’s New Belt-Drive Series, Ideal for 300 to 5,000 CFM

IEC introduces the next generation Belt Drive Series fan coil units, available in single or double wall construction.  The inner lining of the unit can be either solid or perforated.  The double wall construction protects the insulation from moisture and damage while also dampening sound in ducted applications.

Blower coils are ideally suited for a variety of ducted applications that require an airflow range of 300 to 5000 CFM and capacities between 1 and 10 tons.  These units provide comfort cooling and heating while offering a broad range of application flexibility between traditional fan coil units and central air handling units.  The units can be floor or ceiling mounted.

Newly redesigned one- and two-row heating coils in four-pipe applications allow for lower pressure drop and a wider range of hot water temperature applications.  A new option, seismic structural upgrades, meets IBC 2009 and OSHPD certification requirements. 

Units are available as a two-pipe, four-pipe or direct expansion system, with or without electric, hydronic or steam heating.
