April 26, 2012 – All technicians that work on oil burners or install oil fired equipment need to have their NORA Tank Certification. This is a bold statement but a fact. Whether you are an owner, service technicians or service manager, here is your chance to get that certification or simply take a refresher class. Wednesday, June 27th, the Westchester-Putnam County Heating and Cooling Chapter (formerly Westchester Chapter) will be sponsoring this seminar at the Saunders Trades & Technical High School, 183 Palmer Rd., Yonkers, NY ‘ 8:00 a.m. Start ‘ to 4:00 p.m.
Tank Certification is the best proactive approach to tank management and it is our job to install and service them properly.
John Levey, an industry expert on tanks, will be teaching this one-day class and donating his time for a good cause ‘ support of our Adopt a Tech School. Proceeds from this seminar will go towards ongoing efforts in providing this school and its instructors with the latest in equipment and supplies.
The cost of this seminar is $95.00 for non members of the Association and $85.00 for members. Your registration includes the NORA educational Tank Materials as well as lunch and snacks. For those in the NORA certification program they will receive 8 CEU’s.
