OESP Issues Plea for Fire-Striken Member

The National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals issued a plea to members to help a family left without a home.

Read the letter in it’s entirety below:

To All Members of OESP,

This morning we were contacted by member, Brian Pruiksma, Manager at KOSCO, Saugerties, NY. One of his technicians, James Dempsey and his family, lost their home last night due to a fire. They have lost everything except their car. James is a 25 year employee of KOSCO and a dedicated oil heat technician.

The company is collecting cash donations for the family to help them get through this crisis. Sadly, this is a second blow to the family. Their daughter was recently diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatments in Albany, NY.

James and his wife Carol have two children, Ashley and Josh. If you wish to contribute, you can send a check made payable to James Dempsey and mailed to KOSCO, c/o Brian Pruiksma, P.O. Box 1269, Saugerties, NY 12477. Cards of encouragement too can be sent to this same address.

Our membership has always been there to support others and on behalf of our organization, thank you for that.
