Dwyer Group, a company that franchises trade service brands including HVAC brand Aire Serv, launched “Neighborly,” an online platform that works as both a search function and a service provider. Neighborly connects consumers to more than 2,000 franchisees that offer landscaping, plumbing, painting and other services. Homeowners access the service experts via a website, GetNeighborly.com.
“We’ve combined an entire home service community under one umbrella to better serve every homeowner,” Mike Bidwell, president and CEO of Dwyer Group, Waco, Texas, said in a March 28 statement announcing the launch of Neighborly, which he described as “an online platform to connect with local, reliable, vetted providers that meet our franchise system’s rigorous service standards.” There are 13 branded providers: Five Star Painting, Glass Doctor, Portland Glass, Molly Maid, Mr. Appliance, Mr. Electric, Mr. Handyman, Mr. Rooter, Protect Painters, Rainbow International, Window Genie and The Grounds Guys, as well as Aire Serv.
On the website consumers can enter their zip code, select a service and find professional local providers, the company said. Neighborly also provides homeowners the ability to access their service history. The service also issues maintenance reminders, and a blog on the website shares tips and advice.
Bidwell adds, “Neighborly is designed to enhance the consumer experience around shopping for and purchasing home services. Leveraging the power of our franchise network to create a holistic experience for consumers will change the way they care for their homes.”
