2021 Southeastern Expo in Atlanta is Moving to October
The 2021 Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo will be held in Atlanta, October 18-20, 2021, rather than in April, NPGA Chair Denis Gagne announced.
“Between many member companies restricting travel, ongoing public health concerns, and international attendees hampered with travel restrictions to the United States, NPGA’s Conventions Committee and Executive Committee universally felt this decision was in everyone’s best interests as we strive to have an in-person Expo,” NPGA’s president, Stephen Kaminski, said in a statement posted on the association’s website.
“This decision was not made lightly; many options were explored,” Kaminski said. “While it means Expo comes at the start of the winter heating season, in the busiest month for many, and with only six months between Expo 2021 in Atlanta and Expo 2022 (in Nashville), October 18-20 was the only set of fall dates free, and NPGA’s staff worked hard to get them. To minimize travel burdens, the NPGA Board meeting, traditionally held in September, will also be held in Atlanta immediately following Expo.”
The new dates for the Expo were announced at a Sept. 30 meeting of the NPGA Board.
