EEE Keynote Speaker: Baseball Legend Wade Boggs

Boston Red Sox and New York Yankee legend Wade Boggs will be the featured keynote speaker at the Eastern Energy Expo’s breakfast session on Wednesday, May 22, organizers announced. Due to unforeseen circumstances, previously scheduled Keynoter Bill Walton will not be able to appear.

The Expo runs from Sunday to Wednesday, May 19-22 at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut. For complete show info, visit EasternEnergyExpo.com.

Boggs played primarily with the Boston Red Sox and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005. With twelve straight All-Star appearances, Boggs ranks second in number of consecutive appearances as a third baseman. He won five batting titles and played seven consecutive seasons in which he collected 200 or more hits, setting an American League record. Playing for the Yankees, Boggs collected two Gold Glove Awards for his defense. In 1996, Boggs helped the Yankees to their first World Series title in 18 years.

Admission to the Keynote Session is free for all EEE attendees. In addition, attendees will be able to visit Boggs on the Trade Show floor immediately following the session.

“Keynote Wednesday” will also include a special presentation from Clean Fuels Liaison Paul Nazzaro with an update on the Bioheat fuel Digital Marketing Campaign as well as a Federal Policy Update from Energy Marketers of America President Rob Underwood.

Eastern Energy Expo brings together wholesale and retail heating fuel marketers, motor fuel distributors, diesel and biodiesel distributors, propane marketers and service professionals—all shopping for the latest and best in products and services for the petroleum marketing and HVAC industry.

The two-day trade show will be open May 21-22. The 2024 floor plan features more than 200 exhibits in the Earth Expo & Convention Center and brings all booth and truck exhibitors into a single exhibit area.

In addition to the two-day trade show, Eastern Energy Expo features a variety of education programs in business and technical education tracks and will include programs hosted by NORA and Oil & Energy Service Professionals.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available and there are a limited number of exhibit spaces still open.

The annual convention and trade show is co-hosted by the Atlantic Region Energy Expo (AREE), the Oil & Energy Service Professionals (OESP) and the Pennsylvania Petroleum Association (PPA).
