Obituary: Harold Willis, Owned Susquehanna Oil
Harold Cephas Willis, 74, of Dillsburg Pennsylvania, died March 6 at the U.P.M.C. Carlisle Regional Medical Center, reports the Pennsylvania Petroleum Association.The following information is via Cocklin Funeral Home in Dillsburg, and The Patriot-News:
Harold Willis was born May 18, 1949, in Mechanicsburg and was a graduate of the Mechanicsburg High School and Wilkes College.
He was the owner and operator of various businesses including Dillsburg Grain and Milling, Willis Trucking, Wiley Appliances, and Susquehanna Oil (now Susquehanna Oil & Propane).
He was a member of the Zembo Temple and started the first motorcycle club and parade unit. He was also a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, South Mountain V.F.W., and the Dillsburg American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Margie A. (Morrison) Willis; his son, Cephas S. Willis of York Springs and grandchildren, and a step-son, John J. Leathers.
Services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg. Viewings will be held Friday from 6-8 pm and on Saturday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
