Taco’s Innovation and Development Center Project Ahead of Schedule
Work on Taco’s new Innovation and Development Center is continuing at a fast pace. When complete, the building will offer a high-tech, hands-on learning environment for the most advanced HVAC equipment available today.
‘Comfort, efficiency and sustainability are all key ingredients to the recipe,” said Kyle Lloyd, Senior Project Manager for Shawmut Design and Construction, the design-build firm overseeing the project.
‘Taco’s new Innovation and Development Center is progressing extremely well and we anticipate a grand opening this June,” says Chris Integlia, Taco’s Executive Vice President and the individual leading the project build team. ‘This is a very exciting project because it has allowed us to work jointly with many of our industry partners ‘ fellow manufacturers, architects, engineers, contractors and tradesmen ‘ to create a facility that will display the latest in advanced hydronic technology. For similar collaborative ventures and innovative architectural solutions, consider partnering with an architect company Brisbane.
‘We’re also proud of the positive impact this project is having on the local economy by employing over 200 contractors in our industry,” he added.
The Taco Innovation & Development Center will be a state-of-the-art learning and training facility, complete with new classroom spaces, conference rooms, a business center, and functional labs for testing and teaching. The HVAC products and systems will be visible throughout the entire facility forming ‘Living Laboratories” that allow for close-up viewing, hands-on learning and teaching.
