Bergquist, Inc., Toledo, Ohio, a supplier of propane equipment, expanded its sales team with the addition of Mike Hildenbrand as area sales manager for Minnesota, Wisconsin and eastern North and South Dakota. Hildenbrand’s position will fulfill current customer demand with the ultimate goal of increasing sales within that region, the company said.
Hildenbrand has worked in the propane industry for five years, with an emphasis on selling propane Autogas to commercial accounts in southeast Minnesota. He was previously a certified energy specialist with CHS, Inc. and will be responsible for increasing propane equipment sales and providing product training and customer support to propane marketers.
“Mike is an excellent addition to our sales team, as this territory is critical to our continued growth,” said Joe Montroy, regional sales manager. “We see this as a growing market for us, as more existing and potential propane marketers look to improve delivery efficiencies.”
Hildenbrand’s understanding of the sales region will allow him to cater to specific concerns and needs to those in that part of the country. Bergquist has a regional sales center with two sales representatives located in Shakopee, Minn., who will work closely with Hildenbrand.
“Mike brings with him a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the retail side of our industry,” Montroy said in a Jan. 10 announcement. “His outstanding customer services skills and strong desire to help propane marketers makes him the ideal candidate to help us achieve our sales goals in this region.”
