Oil Heat Cares: A New Boiler for a Family on Long Island

The Impastato family of Valley Stream, NY is a long-time customer of Petro.

When the boiler began to leak, it was a financial crisis.

Mr. Impastato is unemployed because of a medical condition. The family has two children in their early teens with disabilities, requiring almost constant care, preventing Mrs. Impastato from working. The family has no ability to pay for a new boiler or finance it.

Ken Becht, General Manager of Petro Home Services in Hicksville, NY, contacted Oil Heat Cares to see if the company could assist. Thanks to a generous donation by US Boiler Company of a Burnham V83 boiler and Petro Home Services for volunteer labor, the Impastato family is having a warm winter this season.
