Bacharach Inc. (New Kensington, Penn.), a leading manufacturer of gas analysis, leak detection, refrigerant monitoring and recovery products, has recently hired Tim Bass as its new director of marketing. As well as taking over the marketing and advertising duties at Bacharach, Bass will also oversee the customer service and repair departments. This comes after the company’s recent acquisition by PNC Equity Partners, a Pittsburgh based buyout and growth equity fund.
Bass had been a strategic marketing and management leader for the FedEx Corporation for over 10 years; he brings a strong understanding of distribution, product management and marketing optimization. He holds a MBA in management from Robert Morris College and a B.S. in business administration and marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. l FON
