FuelCell Energy, Inc., a global leader in the design, manufacture, operation and service of ultra-clean, efficient and reliable fuel cell power plants, announced the development of a project to install a 1.4 megawatt fuel cell power plant to provide both electricity and usable high quality heat to the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. The power plant will generate about 30 percent of the facility power needs, while the heat produced will be used in a direct exhaust absorption chiller to produce 200 tons of cooling for an office building and associated institutional requirements. The medical center, a campus with a 412-bed acute care facility. FuelCell Energy will install, operate and maintain the plant.

Elise Maffre, a recent graduate from the french mechanical engineering university 'Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Tarbes" joined the SUNTEC Industries team as sales engineer on April 1, 2014. Her responsibilities will be to research and develop a customer base in United States for SUNTEC's high-flow pumps, space heater pumps and fuel transfer units. Sweeney Rogers Geraghty has announced that Joe D'Aprile has accepted the position of Eastern N.Y. territory manager.  In his new role, D'Aprile will be responsible for supporting SRGI's assortment of residential and commercial boilers, water heaters, plumbing, heating and air conditioning equipment.  He will report to SRGI's Upstate NY General Manger, John Murphy.
